I Can!

Every year our vegetable garden gets bigger and bigger, and this year was no exception. We have ripped out everything in our flower beds and replaced them with edibles :)

Onions, cucumbers, zucchini, and a few tomatoes.

Hopefully in a year this bed will be full of fresh raspberries and blackberries.

More and more tomatoes! ... and some basil in there too.

With 18 tomato plants we have had more than we can eat (and we can eat a lot), so this year I have tried my hand at canning.

I am excited to have lots of yummy garden tomatoes throughout the winter for chili.

Chino, Az never disappoints

We went down to Chino Valley for the fourth of July to be with Kurt's family and had the best time. We went hiking and swimming, stayed up late talking, ate lots of amazing food, and best of all we got to spend time with the Felicettas.

The Reber children are so musical.

Lily and Gerry are still the best of friends.

Mason just keeps getting cuter, huh?

Homemade ice cream.

Rob and Michelle are the best.

If I could choose one picture to sum up our summer so far it would be this one:

Red Cliffs

Last weekend we took a little trip down south. Kurt had told me about Red Cliffs which is just 20 minutes or so out of St. George. It was so much fun! Absolutely amazing. I can't believe I never knew about this hiden gem.

Our camera ran out of batteries, so these are all the pictures we took.

We basically just hiked up this river, swimming through pools and narrows.

Some areas got a little interesting with Gerry, but he was in HEAVEN. He had so much fun.

And we got back to the car right when the rainstorm started.

It was a great weekend.

Completed Year 2

Kurt finished his 2rd year of law school last week. Only one more to go!

AAANNNNDDD... he got a job! He was hired by a law firm out in Sandy, and started work on Monday. We are hoping that he ends up loving it, and it turns into a permanent gig. We'll see.

Way to go Kurt :)

Charlie

So, yesterday my Dad took Stella to the vet to get fixed. After she pooped all over everything... including my Dad, he learned that Stella had already been fixed... and she is a he.

Stella has become Charlie.

Stella

Ali and Alex adopted a stray cat.... but then gave it to my parents.

This is Stella (aka Kitty).

Gerry loves her.
