Here is a snapshot of what our lives have consisted of lately:
1. This is where an enormous tree used to be. We hired a company to come in and remove it, and $400 later it was gone!! I think the yard looks so much better without it.
2. Here's a little bit of the wood we got from it. It's going to the cabin for fire wood.
3. This is our old water heater. One night last week I went to get in the shower and the water was ice cold. Yada yada yada... now it is waiting to be recycled :)
4. These are our brand new box gardens. My pride and joy. Kurt and I made them this week with some redwood we purchased at Home Depot. Then we found some guy on KSL with free dirt, hauled it home and mixed it up with the left over sawdust from the stump. I'm hoping that in another week it will be filled with my veggies.
5. This weak little fence here is to keep Gerry off the grass for the next month. We just had someone come by and re-seed. Ger is going to be one sad pup.
Speaking of which, it is this little guy's birthday!!
- Okay, well it's a rough estimate, but we thought Cinco de Mayo is as good a day as any :)
Happy Birthday Gerry!!!
