We have been moving stuff in slowly but surely, but don't plan on moving ourselves in for another week or so... though we are getting anxious. Right now she is having her wood floors refinished however, so it's a good thing we can wait.

Can't wait for the summer BBQs in the back yard :)

wedding weekend

So this weekend our good friend's Hugh and Caitlin tied the knot. We are so excited for them, and everything was beautiful. I am sorry I don't have any pictures of the two of them...because they are beautiful too.

All of the weekend wedding festivities were great - mostly because we got to catch up with so many of Kurt's friends that we don't get to see much anymore. A bunch of people came into town for the wedding, including Ryan, Courtney and Westin, who we got a lot of face time with.

So a recap of the weekend: lots of wedding stuff, lots of catching up, lots of food, life planning discussions, some great NBA playoff games, a couple movies, a little dancing, and a little housework. All in all, one great weekend.

Homeowners Are We

So it's done. Kurt and I are homeowners. We closed on our little house yesterday morning, and will begin the move immediately. It has been quite an adventure. For over a year we have been keeping our eyes on potential homes to buy - and just when we were beginning to get discouraged, and convinced that we were going to have compromise on our desired location or price range ...we found it. We had seen so many, and really weren't in love with any of them until this one. We looked at it an hour after it was put on the market, made an offer an hour after that, they accepted our offer the next day, and within a couple of weeks in was official.

We don't have pictures yet, but we sure will after this weekend.
